Group 81 Incorporated SEAPORT-e Contract                                                          Background      Group 81 was incorporated in 1989 and commenced operations as an independent firm in late 1994.  Group 81 Inc. started as a US Small Business Administration (SBA) certified  8(a) Engineering/Logistic/Management support firm with the Corporate Office in Middletown RI. The firm is classified as a Small Disadvantaged Business and it is Veteran owned. Group 81 Corporate Headquarters is located at 747 Aquidneck Avenue, Middletown RI.  The Corporation has provided engineering, analytical, and technical support to the NAVSEA Test and Evaluation Office, Ship Test Branch (NAVSEA 63T) since 1989.  Specific supported NAVSEA SITES include the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport and Keyport, Naval Sea Systems Command Test and Evaluation code 91T (now 62) at the Washington Navy Yard and AUTEC. Additionally, Group 81 has provided support for the ASW SCOT, WSAT, WAA CAL and CSSQT training and Testing Programs.  We have assisted Navy program managers in maintaining and updating internal program managers information systems that track the status of T&E programs, Weapons system procurement and evaluation programs for in-service and new construction ship building programs.     One of GROUP 81’s Subcontractors for the SEAPORT-e N00178-04-D-4060 contract is Integrated Management Solutions of Jamestown, RI.  Our team is focused on the implementation of custom systems and processes to support organizations and the training of organizational members in the systems and processes that will improve employee performance and job satisfaction and  improve the overall organization’s performance.  The Group 81 Team and its employees have supported the remediation, modernization and new design and development efforts for numerous mission critical systems in support of Department of Defense, and other federal and state organizations.    Our lead personnel for this contract and all Technical support personnel have over 80 years of combined experience supporting NAVAL SEA SYSTEMS COMMAND Warfare Centers and facilities.   Group 81 Inc.
